Freeware Neutral CAD File Viewer and Converter

Description

iges2step is a freeware CAD file viewer for Windows XP/2000/NT. It allows viewing IGES and STEP files and translating between them. The versions of the formats are:

• IGES: up to 5.3
• STEP AP203: Mechanical Design (General 3D CAD)
• STEP AP214: Automotive Design
• STEP AP209: Finite-Element Analysis (initial support)

Installation

After downloading all 4 installation files place them in the same directory. Run the file "iges2step.part1.exe". This will unarchive the file "setup.exe". Launch it and then follow the instructions.

Simple parts

You may find some simple IGES and STEP file in the "C:Program Files/iges2step/Simples" directory after the installation.

Software and hardware requirements

1. Operating system: Windows XP/2000/NT 4.0 SP3 + Y2K Patches;
2. Minimum memory: 128 Mb;
3. Recommended memory: 256 Mb;
4. Minimum swap space: 500 Mb.
